It must but perhaps they're not on this forum? I know people who have had successful surgery on backs, knees etc.. And I'm jealous! My neighbour had a double fusion 20 years ago. He's in his late 50s now and still running!! Gah!

Thanks Boozy. I'm starting to consider it.

Back in the early days when my injury only affected L4, L5, S1....yes I would of loved surgery to help with the problem, but now I have probs with discs C2, 3, 4, 5, 6, T7, 8, 9..... the surgeons won't do me now, to complicated and dangerous as is any operation I suppose....

I really wish I was done away back when I wasn't this bad with pain...

Take care

Hi

I had surgery on my neck twice, first was on the C2, 3 & 4 then two years later on C5, 6 & 7 it helped for the first couple of years but the neck pain has always been with me as the muscles and ligaments have not joined up properly and it is really painful and I can feel the spine sticking out under the skin.

It definitely helped but I just wish they paid more attention on getting the tissue back to cover the bones.

Now some seven years or so later i am having trouble with the rest of my skeleton but as it is Osteoarthfitis they will not operate so the wheel chair it is in the near future.

Take care and kindest regards

Terry
