hello ladies.

I had full hysterectomy and large cyst removed last July… was advised I had atypical hyperplasia but no cancer… just had bloods done as I am feeling unwell and my d dimer and ca125 are raised… gynaecologist are saying highly unlikely it’s a problem but recommend ct scan… I would really appreciate any input or advice…

Thanks for taking the time to read 🤗

The scan will give at least some idea of what's going on. It's possible that your team will want additional scans or blood tests, but at this stage it really is a waiting game. Hope you get some answers soon.

i had a large cyst along with my ovaries and uterus last summer as well. My ca 125 was elevated pre op and I was diagnosed with Serous Borderline Ovarian Tumor..unfortunately I had satellite lesions in the abdomen and what could be were removed but I was left with residual disease, stage 3c, I have had 2 blood tests since then, now 6 months post op and my levels are stable at just over 11. I go for another CT next weekend to check on my status, i think I feel ok, and remain active, but didn’t have profound symptoms prior to my surgery..retrospectively maybe with lowrr abdominal fullness and bowel changes..so hard to determine whether new symptoms are related ~. Good luck and feel free to reach out!
