My mother's good news!

Hello, ladies,

I wanted to share some good news with you because this community has always given me and my family so much hope.

Today we got my mother's PET results and they showed stable disease. Her CA125 is 13. We are beyond thankful for these results. ❤️

She was diagnosed with OC Stage 4A in Dec, 2019 followed by surgery, pleural effusion draining, 6 rounds of chemo and on Olaparib since then (you can read her full story on my profile).

Stay strong and remember there are many positive stories here!

I wish you all the best,

Milena

That’s good news! Can I ask, is your mom now finishing up on her 2 years of Olaparib or continuing indefinitely on it? Also, where is she based? I was diagnosed the same time and now completing my 2 yrs on the PARP. Doing very well also, CA125 been stable all the time on it. Best wishes,

Hi, Rose. I'm glad you're doing well too! May it continue! My mum is based in Bulgaria (a small country in Europe). She's also completing the 2 years on Olaparib and next week she has an appointment with her doctor to find out if she will continue to be on it. I'll write you here again after the appointment. :)

Thank you so much. I would be very interested to know if your mum's Onc continues her on it. I feel that if something is working, why stop!? Best wishes from London

Hello again! My mother's doctor said she will continue taking Lynparza. Personally, I also prefer this option for her. :)
