Sharing my good news...(hope you don't mind)

Had the results of my gene testing. I do not have the faulty genes. I didn't realise how much it would mean to me until I had the phone call yesterday.

Finally a definite answer to something.

I'm elated, (once I stopped crying!!)

Now, let's get through this chemo malarkey!!

How long did it take for your results to come through? I had the test in March and have heard nothing. I'm glad you got the answer you wanted.

It took 3 months for me to be given the results.

You've been waiting a long time, can you ring the genetics contact you had??

Really pleased for you. I had my results, also negative, thank goodness, last week. With a daughter and granddaughter to worry about, it was a huge relief to be able to tick something off the list. I had my test in March, then counselling in June. I was told it would take about three months for the results to come through. Best wishes for your chemo. Good luck. Jo 🌻🌺🌸🌼💐🌹

I'm really pleased for you too. It's incredible how it had gotten under my skin so much. I've git one more chemo to get through. Boy o boy is it getting harder.
