Had the results of my gene testing. I do not have the faulty genes. I didn't realise how much it would mean to me until I had the phone call yesterday.

Finally a definite answer to something.

I'm elated, (once I stopped crying!!)

Now, let's get through this chemo malarkey!!

Woo hoo ๐ŸŽ‰, excellent news, it's always good to hear positives.

The chemo is a whole new adventure and one most of us have experienced. It's certainly doable, onwards and upwards lovely, โค๏ธXx Jane

How long did it take for your results to come through? I had the test in March and have heard nothing. I'm glad you got the answer you wanted.

Morning Rachael,

It took 3 months for me to be given the results.

You've been waiting a long time, can you ring the genetics contact you had??

Good luck,

Really pleased for you. I had my results, also negative, thank goodness, last week. With a daughter and granddaughter to worry about, it was a huge relief to be able to tick something off the list. I had my test in March, then counselling in June. I was told it would take about three months for the results to come through. Best wishes for your chemo. Good luck. Jo ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒน

I'm really pleased for you too. It's incredible how it had gotten under my skin so much. I've git one more chemo to get through. Boy o boy is it getting harder.

Bestest wishes
