I went to see Dr today for scan results and he was really pleased to give me the good news! Cancer has shrunk heaps on carbo/caelyx regime, so just at hospital waiting on cold cap as chemo finished for today, then 2 more monthly cycles of chemo then check up in 3 months!
We had a great couple of warm winter days in Adelaide SA so here's a photo of me making the most of it in our back garden!

Not too bad, had 2nd chemo session last Wednesday and relatively unscathed so far, nephropathy in fingers this time so makes typing difficult...........slowed down the online shopping! Hubbie will be pleased!!
Hi Lyn, sorry about the neuropathy in your fingers, I'm sure that will settle, but don't deny yourself the pleasure of your online shopping!xxxDawn!๐บ๐บ
Your very welcome Dawn its still a waiting game for me so i am suffering mentally. just waiting for op to remove a cyst which as a solid area oncologist is taking overias and fallopian tubes away she cant say if its cancer yet till biopsy on cyst but you kinda of know anyway enough about me. And its great when your hear someone with good news.
You look marvelous sitting out in the sunshine! I haven't been able to do that here for longer than 10 minutes all summer. I live in the southeast coastal US and we are on our 56th day of over 90 degrees. So happy to hear your news! You have a very positive attitude and always make me smile. Hugs, from South Carolina, Jill
Thanks Jill! Unfortunately it's gone back cold again here as we are still in the middle of winter but I'm hoping we can go and stay with our son in Noosa Qld as its warmer up there, but as we had to ask him at short notice because we had to wait for the scan results he's got others coming to stay etc so may have to try and go elsewhere or wait until September! Anyway, this is absolutely nothing in the scheme of things, better better is what counts overall! You're having lovely weather, I hate winter!xxxDawn!๐บ๐บ
