Ovarian Cancer active again on liver first recurrence plus ascites new chemo carboplatin and caelyx

My consultant gave me results of latest scan I have oc stage 4b diagnosed june 2018. After chemo in 2018 and avastin which finished march this year the cancer no longer stable very active in liver and spread to outside of bowel. So after two years back on chemo after Christmas. This time carboplatin and caeylx. In hospice now I have had ascites 4 litres drained so far. The right goes on.

Bless you hun I hope you get over this set back quickly, I am on a watch and wait till Feb but had to call my oncologist cos I have had a bit of tummy ache since Saturday so I now have a scan this Monday coming. They were watching my liver also and I too am stage 4b. Big hugs to you and sending as much positivity as I can your way xx

I'm sorry about your cancer acting up and hope the drain will make you comfortable. I found carbo/caelyx quite tolerable, just six sick days out of 28 each cycle. I wish you whatever joy you can find over the holidays and hope things improve quickly for you. xx
