just wanted to share an article I read on medical news today. Some major advancements being made in ovarian cancer research. Lots of different inhibitors and specific cell cycle research being carried out. University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania has a very committed research program.

Has anyone done any research into a pathway known as ALDHA?

There is also an immunotherapy trail taking place in Melbourne Australia, which has shown promising results. I believe it's at Frankston Hospital in Melbourne.

Testing on mice was very promising. I'm sure this will translate to clinical trials very soon. fingers crossed.

Yes definitely a step forward and gives us hope for the future. There seems to be lots happening in the labs at present, fingers crossed that they get the funding they need to move to trials ASAP.

Sitting here looking at my lawn covered in dandelions, never bothered me before but having read the dandelions analogy in the article their days are definitely numbered !

This looks hopeful! Thank you for sharing. I hope it applies to low grade serous oc too. The approach of starving the stem cells makes so much sense .
