Hello, I'm liese, I had ovarian cancer 2004, stage 2A, CA125 6000 before hysterectomy, I then took 6 doses of carboplatin and taxol every 3 weeks. 6 months or so later CA125 elevated so I was given another 3 of the same, dose 2, I became allergic to the carboplatin, felt really weird...As we all know, C125 is a little dodge city, but a marker. Had all the weirdness side effects etc, but bumbled along as single parent. 2013 ish (chemofog/brain), I was diagnosed, thanks to dentist with jaw cancer, totally unrelated, clearly Mr friggin cancer has a problem with me, bring it, he'd lower right mandible removed, replaced with titanium bike chain looking thing, then sisplatin chemo x3 and 7 weeks of daily radiotherapy on head n neck. Totally fabulous, seamless treatment from clinic 11, Ward 32, walsgrave hospital, Coventry, Mr Walton and Dr Sandu, my heroes, Google my name, it's all there. In remission from it all, decided to get my shit together, healthier lifestyle, not that I was so unhealthy before, few pounds more than needed. Lost 3stone through slimmers world, since then, 'osteo/ rheumatoid arthritis, I'm sure this 3rd condition is not un effected from all the chemo, transfusions that go with it. Nice joining u guys, keep the strength. Xxxx

Wow you really have had a lot to deal with. I’m keeping fingers crossed that things stay stable and you cope ok with the arthritis. My closest friend has this and it is pernicious, but she is getting used to having it alongside her always. Welcome to the forum and hope you have a good Easter.

Gosh, you have been through the wars. Welcome to our group. It’s good to read you had great treatment. You’re probably right in surmising the arthritis is not unrelated to all the treatments you’ve had.

Great pic of you and your dog.
