Ulcer is gone but...

Good Morning

So after getting medicines for viral infection and also antibiotics for bacterial infection, which I wasn't sure about them, I got fluconazole for 3 days. Doctor got the viral swab result after 2 days of taking Zovirax syroup and rang me to stop taking it. Two days later, after taking only 2tablets of antibiotics, as I felt they will make all worse, I rang my doctor and asked for antifungal med. Next day after taking fluconazole I felt already better! So I was taking this Friday, sat and Sunday and yesterday my huge ulcer was gone! Hurrra!!!

But life is not that easy and hardly giving us a break so... I catched some cold, my nose is soooo blocked. Additionally, which is worrying me most, from Monday I have a pain on left side, under my ribs and pain in my back. Same pain as on begining my recurrence. Same as on the time when I had a pockets with liquid. My nodules next to my belly button are bigger even my Ca125 for last couple of weeks is 12. I can't sleep again on my belly because of pain in my tummy! What is this pain? It came suddenly 2 days ago. Is it possible that different kind of cancer is growing?

I have 2 chemos left, doctor was happy with results...

Assesment in few hours but I think chemo will be postponed as I feel very bad.

Please tell me that is normal getting that kind of pain, that is because chemo is working or something. I am just freaking out

Hugs,

Zaneta xx

Hi Zaneta..hope it goes well with your assessment today (?). Try to hang on to the fact that your Onc was pleased with your past results. L xx

Hi Zaneta - what a difficult time you've been having. Antibiotics are designed to do us good but as often as not they have undesirable side effects which are only apparent once you start.

I do hope that your chemo assessment went OK but tend to agree with you that if you're feeling so unwell it would be better to postpone. Do let the team know about your pains and worries. You simply can't go on worrying (and possibly not sleeping well?) without having this checked out. But remember that your results were good and you're almost there with 2 more chemos to go x

Hi,

Chemo postponed. Doctor put me on ct cancelation list, so hopefully I'll get scan by next Wednesday visit. Then we will see what it is. Options: biopsy, radiotherapy, surgery.

He asked me to not freak out... Well... I will try.

Hugs

Take care

Hi Zaneta, I am having strange pains every where under my rib cage, tummy both sides left & right all the time. I am 3c my last ca 125 was 10. I try not to panic & put it down to all the treatments I have had but the pain wont go a way. My mind keeps thinking is the cancer playing up?

My advice is try not to panic because you have a lot going on at the moment & that might been making the pain worse. Seeing you are on chemo it could be that do mentioned to your team. Take care Cindyxx

Hi Zaneta You say you have a cold, have you been coughing a lot? Maybe you have strained something? Hopefully that's all it is. I recently had a cold, convinced my cancer was back, turns out the pain was an injury from coughing. Wishing you well. Kathy xxx

Hi Kathy,

I wish you were right. Unfortunately no coughing.

It's get worse when I eat something. Same as previously. Awaiting for scan now

Ah Molly

We postponed chemo till next Thursday to let me get better and get some strength. Doctor said he will try to organise ct scan to see what's going on. Ca125 still ok-12.

Came back home yesterday with fever. Today I have very strong like flu symptoms. Every bone and muscle Hurst, sore throat, blocked nose, headache, fever. Hope I will elget better till next week to get chemo.

Hugs, xxxx
