Ive not been on the website as I've spent 9 days in hospital. 5 days after my first chemo my temperature decided to do cartwheels, so they admitted me thinking I had an infection. They pumped me full of antibiotics, then played the game of find the infection! I have now had yet another ascites drain(my third this round) chest X-rays, and a lung drained of about 2litres of fluid(not something I want to go through again). They now seem to have decided the temperatures are a symptom of my cancer, not an infection.....wish they had decided that quicker. I'm now home again and hoping my bloods will be good enough for chemo 2 on Thursday! Fingers crossed!
The really good thing that happened is I made it to the Goodwood Revival and has the best day I've had in ages. My husband borrowed a wheelchair so I didnt tire myself out, and pushed me around all day, he is shattered! But all that mattered to him was that I enjoyed myself. So while I had a cruddy start to the cycle, it's ending on a really great note
