I am also on weekly taxol and have had it while on antibiotics. It depends on how you are and your blood results and temperature I think. You're almost finished which is great and even if you have a week's delay I doubt it will matter really.

All the best Francesca x

Thanks for replying, my kidney function was low so no chemo today but on another lot of antibiotics, everything else still fine though.

It will give me a bit of a break to hopefully get things back on track, hope things are going well fit you on weekly Taxol, except obviously the UTI

Best wishes xx

My unit seems to rely on temperature and how I am feeling as well as bloods so I think they'll probably say it's ok for you to go ahead with chemo.

yes everything looked OK until my kidney function level was low so no chemo today, it's only 1 week so hopefully the new antibiotics will clear it up once and for all. All my OBS were good and all the other bloods so they would have gone ahead.

Thanks for replying

Sorry just saw your post now, hopefully the antibiotics will sort the infection and the the kidney function, drink plenty of fluids in the next week, sometimes these things are sent to try us as if we hadnt enough. Not having chemo today wont affect the overall result so sending you a big hug and rest over the weekend

this post is 2 years old and looking at your at your profile, its apparent that you are in effect promoting a website / business....

I think this is rather disingenuous to members of this forum (who have been affected by ovarian cancer). It would be better to be upfront in terms of who you are and your motivations- if you believe in your product then simply post honestly.

Hello All

For clarity - I have removed the reply Sunfleury-UK is referring to above. As she rightly ascertained, the reply was an advert and that is why it was removed.

Best wishes
