after everything you've been through not having a diagnosis, or having an unconvincing diagnosis must be incredibly frustrating. So it's no wonder you think the NHS is crap & probably feel that they will never even try to get to the bottom of what's going on.
When I'm up against a brick wall I try to hang on to the idea that the NHS can be a very inconsistent service - there are sort of islands of excellence if you know what I mean but it's not always that easy to find them! I think you just have to keep trying every option & sooner or later some nurse or doctor will come up with something that actually leads somewhere constructive.
Going to A&E is definitely the right thing to do. Good luck, Luce x
Hi John, I,too hope you get some answers to the problems you are dealing. Life is horrid when you have to rely on a system you do not feel confident in. I pray your update brings better news for you. good luck.
Hi John. I send you luck as well. I know how you feel about not getting answers I am going through similar and feel very let down by the NHS. You end up having to take a degree course in medicine yourself to try and find answers.I hope you get help soon. Franbie x
John, I got ringing in either ear when I had taken Ibuprofen many years back at onset of RA. It stopped when didn't take them. Recently when j have had to take Diclofenac for my flare up, I got some of that ringing back. It wasn't anything like as bad as before on Ibuprofen (which I didn't stay on for long). Was told it was quite common to experience ringing in the ear with some anti inflammatories. It didn't last for more than about thirty seconds at a time but it was quite intense when it did it.
kitty for the last year ive been on me own with this thing apart from the private rumi appointment trying to crack it.
i dream of a rumi referal the one i saw on nhs said this is going to go in the early stages YOUR DISCHARGED.
the private one new exactly what it was looking at my hands sponduropathy enthesis being my ligaments are under attack by my imune system with considerable inflamation he said
had it 3 times and never new what it was always getting rid of it but with a bit of damage every time
this time no GO took me over a year just on the others.
then the guy told me where my pains where without looking cant see that being a good guess can you.
i expect these little lumps which have inflamation on them in my fingers are probably the same stuff as in me feet and possibly as he said si joint in back.
if i could trade 5 weeks ago and not had an op on the knee leaving it in a mess not corrected i would do.
but then again the inflamation in the feet could be from anything they did in the knee nerve wise i just dont know or infection
minka this may sound stupid but i used and it WORKED HONEST found it online if you got some vicks vapour rub try on feet dont laugh made my big toe right and my left
