dunno if anyone can help me i have a blue badge, i live in a walk way wen parking my car cant get close to the walk way finding it harder and harder to get to my house cause i have to park quiet way down the road cause all the spaces are taken up. does anyone know how i would go bout getting a disabled bay closer to the walk way ?

Speak to your local council and ask them about them painting a disabled bay for you,it will cost about £80.00 or there abouts.

thanks for getting back to me philip, i spoke to my local council all they did was pass me from pillow to post cause no one new anything bout it was on the phone for over a hour and gave up hope.

If you find your local council online there should be a section on there to apply for things like this And dropped kerbs. I know for mine I just filled in an online application, waited a few weeks then someone contacted me.

Hi, you can apply through your local social services department who will make a referral to the relevant department or you can apply direct to your local highways department.

Check your councils website for the highways departments contact details. Or let me know who your local authority is and I'll find the details for you if you can't manage.

I got a white line put outside of my house as a neighbour kept parking outside mine with one of his many cars. i didnt get charged for it plus it really works he doesnt park there now. i just went through the highways agency via the council. good luck with it x
