Hi - yes I do, but like you I was turned down the first time I applied. The decision was later overturned but I had to provide a lot of medical evidence to support my application. Good luck!

I have a blue badge and am now on my second one. They run for so long and then you have to reapply. The first on i had the GP to support my request i think there is a section on the form for your GP to fill in.

Try again and ask your GP to fill it in, If you dont get mobility which would be automatic .

Wish you luck . XXXX

Only thing I can suggest is to get help from someone filling in the forms - the CAB disability advisors know exactly what they are looking for, and can make sure that you don't say anything that will go against you or explain it well enough. For example, they may have assumed that because you have had hip replacements now, that has fixed your walking problems.

If your condition is variable so that you have good days and bad days, always describe your condition at it worst. Don't lie, but let them know what it's like when it is bad as that could happen at any time.

That was what I was told by my OT. Just remember when you fill in these forms that they don't know you from Adam, and need you to use your worst day as a base line. I got my mobility after the OT told me that and then the blue badge is automatic then
