Started on Abatacept infusions back in August due to shortage of pens but at long last they are back in circulation again. Had message from healthnet homecare re first delivery which is arranged for next Thursday then have to wait for nurse to visit to show me how to use them. Last infusion which was already booked is on Friday then no more traipsing off to the hospital day care centre -Yipee progress at last

my consultant when asked on Friday as it will be my new medication said as far as he had heard they were up and running again. Fingers x

That’s excellent news! (We’ve spoken before on here about our Abatacept pen frustrations! I should get my pens back in my early November delivery.) The clickpens are so easy to use and I was convinced it hadn’t even gone in as couldn’t see a dot/puncture in my leg, but the visiting nurse showed my where the needle had moved down in the pen window. That’s how easy and painless it was. Hope the nurse visit goes well.
