I hadn’t heard from healthcare at home or hospital since Friday so I called healthcare at home yesterday. I was informed they had received notification that I can have 25mg benepali twice weekly for this month and should be changed to 50 mg next time.
It’s being delivered tomorrow. Why don’t they call you to say they have received notification from the hospital. I feel if I hadn’t made the call yesterday I would probably not have had the delivery tomorrow.
I also called the hospital again and left a message to call me back as I’m in a lot of pain. Didn’t get a reply from last weeks call. So waiting in anticipation!!
I have a GP appointment today but not very confident they can do anything usually say call hospital. Supposed to have shared care.
The NHS is certainly going downhill.

My GP practice has recently been taken over by a larger one. I saw a GP who was quite surprised I couldn't straighten my right arm. It's getting to a point I can't do anything with it as it is very painful. They gave me some anti inflammatory gel (I am taking an anti inflammatory) to rub into the elbow joint. I am to have an xray then go back for a steroid injection. So I think it's was quite a positive outcome. By the way rheumatology consultant said it's not RA causing the swelling it is fatty tissue ' I know I'm overweight don't need to rub it in'
So on Monday I'm off for an xray then book a double appointment.
Well your treatment has been just poo hasn't it? I sincerely hope that this new GP follows this up - as they should - and you get some long overdue help
