Amgevita : I had my first injection of amgevita... - NRAS
Amgevita
it may be down to you getting stressed and anxious, as they are well known to trigger flares. It may also be it has relieved a little inflammation which has allowed joints a little more movement after so long, triggering pain.
Understood. I find these meds so frightening especially if I've done my homework into them. However, Amgevita has worked miracles for many and could do it for you too π€
I completely understand you taking a while before plucking up the courage to inject your amgevita. I am on abatacept biologic which I inject weekly and was on MTX injections in 2020/2021 and even now I donβt look forward to injecting myself with my biologic. My current biologic is a breeze for me as it causes no pain at all when injecting it and I can already tell it is starting to work some magic for me. Iβve only been on this biologic for just over two months. My rheumatology team advised me that it can take a good 3-6 months to have the full benefits of my biologic. I hope your pain settles down quickly for you and that amgevita starts working at reducing your inflammation soon. Take good care.
