Hi all you wonderful knowledgeable people. I am starting on Amgevita , the pre filled pen soon and was just wondering is it as stingy as when you inject Benepali ?? I'm so soft I usually numb my injection site with an ice cube 1st π
Amgevita: Hi all you wonderful knowledgeable people... - NRAS
Amgevita
I never felt a thing! As to being soft, why would anyone volunteer for discomfort?
Hi Bootoo, I have no experience of benapali injections but I find the amgevita really stings. I dread injecting myself. Sorry I guess we are all different.
I'm on a different brand - Imraldi. Yes it stings when I press the plunger. It's less painful in my stomach than my thigh.
I take a deep breath press down and breathe steadily, concentrating on my breathing until I hear the click. It wears off very quickly after that. It's so marvellous to be almost pain free and to be able to use my hands again that I would put up with far more!
That's what I think when it stings....it's for the greater good π thank you
hi - am starting on Amgevita next week and wanted to ask how youβve gotten on with it? Has it caused any side effects or issues?
Many thanks
Iβm on this now and have to pluck up
Courage to do it ππ caught myself by surprise the other week and pressed before I was ready ππ that was interesting π³ππ
my methotrexate sometimes stings but amgevita is not stingy at all π Donβt inject straight from fridge β¦ I leave mine to get to room temp for an hour or so.
