I had a phone call from my boss about going back to work, asking lots of questions, have I had covid, and then lists anything that is wrong with you and the suppressed immune system came up. So I said yes and why. So now am only doing 2 days a week. Tuesday and Thursday. Going in on a week on Sunday for induction day she says. But I am pleased as was rather worried about it all. She said 2days until further notice. I will have to go back to normal hours after Oct when furlough stops as will not be able to afford it. I am very happy about this!
Thanks for listening.

What a good boss . It certainly takes the pressure off you
Take it easy. You are lucky I haven't heard a thing from any of my employers apart from a text from the Store Manager to say "I hope you are enjoying the good weather"! The company are suffering financial problems and made a lot of redundancies in May but I expected to hear something other than that text when the store re-opened in June. There are about 15 of us all in the same boat all wondering if/when we will return to work. I am expecting to be made redundant because I had a long time off last year with Breast Cancer. The ones that were made redundant in May have to wait 12 weeks for the government to pay their redundancy packages which will not be their full entitlement. Good luck going back and don't over do it
Thank you Carolsos that is very kind of you. I'm a lucky one, I'm still breathing, however I had COVID19 in April I wouldn't wish that on anyone and I would rather go through another round of chemotherapy than go through that again. Please stay safe and take care. Good luck x
I also had a call from work asking about preference to continue working from home or go in to the office, they are trying to work out how many people want to return so they can prioritise those wanting to go back first. I am happy to continue from home. It is nice to be asked. Good luck on your return, hope it goes smoothly and you feel safe. X
Oh that sounds like a good outcome in the circumstances. Hopefully when you do return fully the Covid situation will have eased 🤞🤞🤞. But sounds like your boss is on the ball and looking after your welfare and not just the companies so that’s probably a bit of a relief.
