Hi everyone.just doing the dreaded PIP.i am unsure about including details of my appts for the last year as there are lots of different issues relating to RA.and lots are missing.should I ask the hospital if they have a list of them all that they could print out for me on one sheet? .will the details be stored together as well as I have had appts at 3 different hospitals.i dont know how to begin with this.i dont know if they need to know this but I have a huge folder of all different appts and cant print them all out to enclose. Also did anyone manage to get photos of x ray's to enclose and if so how did you do it please??

In my experience it’s best to include everything (bamboozle them) if you have missing letters your GP should have copies as they are included in any correspondence . I would also ask GP for acute medicine list. I never needed xrays so can’t help there.

It truly is a mine field . Don’t try to do it all at once piece by piece but be very thorough. Good luck

I didn’t list all my hospital appointments but did send all my letters that I received with details of each appointment and any

Treatments etc. If you have some missing then your GP will have copies too. I also sent copies of xrays which I had requested from the hospital. You are entitled to get copies of all your xrays and records from the hospital. It takes a while so may not be in time to send but they are worth getting I think.

In case you haven’t seen it NRAS has a publication on applying for PIP

Have a look on the Benefits & Work website. if you subscribe you can download their PIP Guide which will take you through the form and process step by step. I wouldn't use any other. Good luck.
