YAY get in there Consultant 1st trip in the bag

Ok in the diary just relieved I have a date to work too 10th Sept. Might not feel like it on the day but start of the RA road trip I am sure its as complicated as this one!

What a relief! It may be a long and complicated business but at least the first step in the process is in sight. You can start compiling your list of questions and planning your outfit

Outfit sorted its in the bag a roll on roll off kind of get up with no buttons and my 'disabled' bra . The heels swapped out for ecco shoes. Questions just started a list last week and I am sure when I get to over 100 I might have over done it. Seem to spend a lot of time going WHY lately.

Also who to take with you to your appointment - I found it was one of the most helpful things I’ve done as I never remember everything that’s discussed.

The same friend always goes with me and writes brief notes and then we compare what we remember afterwards. The doctors have never turned a hair and in fact my current consultant calls us the ‘double act’ !

Hubby to the rescue he has had me at all his 7 months of Doctors, hospitals and consultants and my little black book always in the bag which has now been joined by my bunny notebook for me. It's amazing it is like the black hole medical appointment notes!
