Hello and update

I hope all is well in the community. Sorry for my extremely late update, decided to take some time away from my social media and posting as I stepped into my third biologic.

My last post I was on prednisone and about to start a new biologic Kevzara. That was about 8 weeks ago now, my how time flies.

To date I have been taken off my new biologic and being placed on a lesser dose due to white blood cell count taking a dive! This has led to the aches and pains 😕 and 2 weeks of a very swollen debilitating left hand that feels like it is being pounded and zapped, my goodness the pain 😩 coupled with very soar feet/ankle as the wretched inflammation returns despite the healthy eating.

I am literally going through packets of Ibuprofen to get through each day. (Avoiding Prednisone). Hopefully new level of biologics turn up soon.

Overall trying to remain hopeful as we must with RA. Wishing you all well this bank holiday and beyond. As always remain hopeful and stay strong. 🤗

Not so good Nessie hopefully the right one comes along soon and you get some relief xxx

Hi Hessie, hope you are well - so have you been taken off Kevzarra now ? Im being advised to swop go this drug (against my requests!) I’m 3 months into a severe flare up as my last drug (cimzia) stopped working)...

It’s taken me 3 months to even get to a stage of drug choices / discussions with my rheumo dept.
