Hi Guys, I know this has been asked over and other again
but how did you fare on Leflunomide?
how was your weight? how was your stomach?
I have tried the S one but felt I couldn't breath so took myself off it just after a week, it seemed fine at first but on the 6 day I was feeling bad, rash too.
so have had a break from going on anything else but I am sick of the pain and its coming in more new places.
so would love to hear how you fared on it, as my stomach couldn't cope with much more
I am watching what I eat and I do notice when I am not careful what I eat, although I still can't pin point what in foods is making it worse.
if I stick to bland boring foods I am not too bad

I've been on Leflunomide a couple of times and I get my weight checked every time I go to monitor clinic. I have been told it can cause weight loss but I've never been that lucky😔
I get no side effects whatsoever with it luckilly.
I’ve been on it for more than a year and no adverse effects so far. Methotrexate damaged my liver but I took it for nearly ten years and felt much worse when I stopped
Hi, Ive been on Lefl. for about five years. Its been very good, no serious side effects. much better than Methot. that made me feel dreadful. The only thing I would say is that on its own it probably hasn't quite controlled my RA enough, so now going through the next process of working out what will be best in the future.
Hi I only took for 2 months as the side effects were similar to Meth for me. Lots of nausea, no appetite and just generally felt hungover all the time. I hope it works for you xxx
Hiya, I was on it for 5-6 weeks and was so unwell, from stomach problems like no appetite to constant diarrhea, it was awful so I stopped it. I'm now back on weekly 25mg methotrexate injection, 4 sulphasalazine daily, 2 hydroxychloroquine daily, folic acid and my levothyroxine, quite a concoction but I'm actually feeling much better on these drugs. Pain is minimal and I can live quite normally, thank goodness. Hope this helps.
