Hi everyone I posted last week that my GP would not sign my form for a bus pass as I was in remission (drug induced by the way), but he had asked me to attend a review. I had an appt with another Dr this morning , (she was running very late so that may have helped with decision) anyway she just asked why I was asking for a bus pass and I said I have had so much trouble with my feet, and that I use the bus as an aid. (I had even bought in some tools that I use in the kitchen) for my hands and said I use the bus as an aid for my feet, as I can't walk distances and especially carrying anything.
Well that was all that was needed she is writing a letter for me this week for the bus pass

Thank you all. It just gives me that freedom now to use buses when it is needed (which lately is a lot), also it gives me independence back, and now I can use a outdoor heated swimming pool from end of March, which is out of my area, but which is a lot more quiet than the swimming pools near me which are used predominantly during the day by schools and get some exercise going for my feet and legs
