I didn’t seem to have any problems whilst on Enbrel apart from a few years ago when there we’re supply problems. However since being on Benepali I do seem to have to keep chasing it up.
I don't have delivery problems James but agree that they're not as efficient as they used to be. Who does one complain to in this instance - the prescribing hospital or some manager at H&H? It's an unnecessary stressor.
I made a formal complaint to HCH via their complaints dept. Got apology and told they had taken steps to rectify system failures. That was earlier this year. Last week same thing again. My Rheumy team supported my complaint against HCH
I had problems when on Enbrel. Switched to Humira last year, and the service is much better. Surely it can’t be down to the medication you are on - all very strange.
I understand HCH won a Scottish wide NHS contract last year. I don’t think they have systems in place to cope. Yesterday on the phone HCH told me that they had so many prescriptions they couldn’t tell me if they had mine despite my Rheumy Team having received a receipt for my prescription two weeks earlier. Neither I nor Rheumy team can get past their call centre to speak to a manager!!
They can’t get the basics right - how to communicate with patients.
