Pip claim

Hi I put a claim in for pip I have rhemetroid arthritis and take methetrexate injection weekly as well as all the other meds I suffer with my hands and feet and have been Of work for 6 months I have synovitis among other problems with my feet and was refused i have done the mandatory reconsideration got refused now waiting for appeal anyone else had the same and what was your outcome thanks

Hi Tina I am going along the same process,they downgraded my living allowance from high to standard and Stopped my Mobility Allowance,I have done the reconsideration over the phone,that was very stressful only took 2 and a half hours I was mentally and physically exhausted after,they still decided to give me the same again.Somebody put me in touch with my Local Welfare Rights Department,had a meeting with her yesterday,took all the information with me 'ie' face to face assessment form and reconsideration form which I asked to be forwarded to me plus the original forms to apply for pip (I had help from cab ) .The lady from Welfare rights dept.seems to think that I have a good chance of winning my appeal. It's certainly taken its toll out of me and had thought of given up but family persuaded me to carry on. Hoe you manage to sort yours x

It's a total joke I've not been to work for nearly 6 months I'm really suffering with pain and sickness they told me a 23 week wait x

I know it's terrible but I have had to calm myself down over all the anguish,I have Bipolar as well as other chronic illnesses I don't know whether I am on my head or my bum at the moment lol hope you can get sorted sooner,have you got any agencies helping you?x

Well I got all my paper work today so I'm guessing a date will follow x
