Knee replacement done yesterday.

Hi everyone.

Sending this from my hospital bed after tkr yesterday.

Surgery took longer than expected as the surgeon said it was challenging due to the scarred tissue from previous surgeries.

Had a really awful night last night as I was so sick on the morphine pump.

They have now sorted that out but I am in a lot of pain this morning but a massive bag of ice is helping.

The staff on the ward have been amazing.

I'll keep you updated.

Oh bless hope you feel a bit better today, i had my knee done 3 years ago and need my other one doing but now know that pain so put off a wee bit. It will get better day by day. I was in for 5 days, seen others home in 2. Big Hug. xx
