Sorry I know its a shock but at least these days treatment can be very successful, my 33 year old son's friend has just had her stoma reversed and, its looking good. Not an easy path to go down but there is a very good chance of a good outcome in time. So try to stay positive and hopefully all will be well in time. ----- has had a tough time with the chemo but is really very well now.

So sorry to hear this. Prognosis is excellent for this disease if caught early though. Hopefully next Christmas will make up for this one but in the meantime lots of (((hugs)))

Well Alan, I really do hope it's straightforward & you have a swift uneventful recovery. What upsets me on your behalf is the messing about you've had with diagnosis, they've lost you 5 months, it really has been poorly managed. I hope they have apologised for the previous errors & they really look after you now. Take good care. x

Oh no how awful for you. I am a great believer in angels, but they can't help unless you ask. Please ask them and they will be with you all the way. I myself have an operation booked for the 23 December, these horrible illness don't care what time of year it is. Take care 😍

Bummer. In extremis.

When best mate had a cancer with a 40% survival rate a Macmillan nurse said that those with an attitude of beating the thing did better than those without a positive outlook. He's living proof.

Listen to what they say and keep you own outlook in the future. Keep in touch!

So sorry to hear this news. I know It's no consolation but it might help to know my elder brother aged 83 recently celebrated 10 years post-operative similar surgery. Good luck. We're all rooting for a good outcome. 🙏

Hi,

I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Try and keep your pecker up. I've had thyroid cancer and come through and my sister-in-law had bower cancer and got the all clear last year. Right now it feels like your world is crashing around you but hang in there and accept all the support that is offered too you.

Good luck and take care.
