Ready for my Trip to see my family

Well, it was touch and go for a while but I am packed, the Taxi is booked for 8:15am and I am off to the Airport. With all the packing etc I hope I can get out of bed in the morning. My hand luggage is almost full with the medications I need for 6 weeks, not much room for anything else.

Thankfully, no surgery involved but lots more medications as they increased some, changed some,

deleted some. I am no longer on Warfarin it was changed to Apixaban which regulates itself, no more visits to the warfarin clinic. I have been told I now have induced steroid diabetes. If they get the Toci infusions sorted by the time I return, I can start to reduce the Prednisilone 20mg and then

hopefully, I can come off the diabetes medications.

I had my first infusion the beginning of June and I felt so much better, no side effects. I can't wait to get started again once the Clinic sorts out the staffing issues.

In the meantime, I am going to spend 6 wonderful weeks with my son, his wonderful wife and my adorable twin granddaughters. I am sure they will all take my mind of my RD pain.

See you all when I get back. Take care, I wish and hope you will all keep well and be in much less pain.

God bless, Sue xx

Thank you Suzannedale, yes it is Toronto I fly into but my son lives in the east suburbers, a very nice place not far from the lake.

They get a lovely cool breeze. I am shattered now, hopefully I will be able to sleep tonight. I am so looking forward to all the hugs and kisses from my granddaughters.

Thank you for your lovely message.

Take care, Sue xx
