Well what a couple of days i have had.We went down to Cambridgeshire to see family and was having a lovely time until last night. Was out for a drink(no i don't drink) and i wanted to take some photos of Ely cathedral when i fell on some rough paving and footpath. In one respect i was lucky as i was wearing Linen trousers which protected me. Anyway i have a very badly grazed left knee which bled like i don't know what. The barmaid came out from the pub and put a bandage on it and then we had a drink there and she gave hubby another bandage to put on it later. The upshot of this nasty knee is no cimzia this week because i have an open wound. I have a few bruises and gashes and it has upset the old body to boot as well. At the moment i am sitting here with shorts on and savlon on my knee and letting it get some fresh air.
I am wondering what next is going to happen to me.............................

I should be put in a glass cage methinks,ha ha ha. I have posted a picture on my f/book page of what my knee looks like,i can't post them on here as my camera is too big.xxxx
I will have to cover it up when i go to bed, then i will leave it to the fresh air.xxx
I trust it's not the one you had your operated on last year! I think it will have to be steel bars all around you and only let out when you have your Cimzia, then back on again. You take care now young lady. xxx
Hi sylvi, I'm not on facebook so can't see the knee but neverthe less, sorry you had a fall. I get what you mean about what next? I fell 5 months ago & damaged the left side of my body, then have been into hospital for a fortnight for intensive physio. last 3 months have been weaned off pain patches due to stomach&bowel problems. Tuesday I see a bowel consultant. Glad to say the RA is benefitting from leflunomide & enbrel injections.
I read the blogs & think we guys are unique for how we deal withan what is thrown at us. Hope you heal quickly so you can take the cimiza again. Thankyou for you support of us. Love to you & everyone out there. Alison x

Och Sylvie, so sad to hear that. How is it now? That was a nice helpful barmaid wasn't it and thank goodness your good old husband was there - the shock of falling is nearly as bad as the cut, hope it clears up soon so you can get back on the cimzia
Well this morning Mads i feel like i have been hit by a lorry, god i ache like hell.I will be ringing the drs this morning as my rheumy nurse tells me that i need it treated due to the cimzia so i will go this morning.I have put up pics on f/book of the good samaratins who helped us. I wish i took their names though, but i was in a bit of shock and i forgot.xxxx
Sorry to hear this Sylvi. I can empathise more than usual as I had a very painful knee last night after some negative news about a plot of land we were hoping to buy. Suddenly my knee seized up and I could hardly move. I had a few sips of paddys whisky which helped me to relax. Hope you're a bit better today and can keep out of the wars. Xx
Hi Sylvie, bit late onto this, as usual, but hoping you feel better today.
