Cimzia

I'm on Cimzia (which I know can cause skin rashes), but have had no such problems for the 2.5 years I've been taking it. But 6 weeks ago I had the allergy test - where they prick your arm with different types of allergens. I reacted mildly only to grass pollen, nothing else. Good to know.

Already on cimzia, methotrexate and sulfa. Getting pretty down about it.

Okay so I started Cimzia a month ago for ankloysing spondylitis. I've been on my period every since. Has anyone else ever experienced this female problem on biologics? I messaged my Rhemotoligist and set an appointment for my Ongyn. But still concered

Tried a couple of others before cimzia was prescribed and it has kept the RA under control for years. Wondering if the same things happening and me old body is saying no more 🫤🤷‍♀️

I recently started imraldi(bio similar to humira), in feb 2024, after building antibodies to cimzia. since then I have noted small improvements in my joints but my eyes continue to be in a constant flare. Any suggestions? Did anyone’s scleritis ever go in remission?

recently started humira in feb but still in pain and agony in joints and eyes are flared losing lots of hair since starting humira was on cimzia before and that gave me good three years of relief

hi all I started humira on 7/2/24 after cimzia failing after three years. Iv had 5 injections so far and iv still not seen any improvement at all. I’m allergic to methotrexate and the other dmards they try us with. what has your experience been like, in terms of success.

I’ve been in cimzia with few problems for nearly two years, but this winter I’m having quite bad sinus headaches frequently. Ranges from one-three flares daily. I think this is a side-effect of cimzia. I’ve tried to eliminate all other possible irritants (blowing heaters, caffeine, etc).

If this is correct, I am not in remission, as I’m on Cimzia, but no steroids or other RA drugs. I get a few aches and pains, a bit of fatigue, but am generally functional at a near-normal level.

I've been on Cimzia for just over two months now, and done a lot of injections prior to that for egg freezing, so I am pretty experienced with different injection site reactions.

Hi all, been on Cimzia several years but been recently having lots of lower back pain, shoulder pain, elbow pain. My rheumatologist says no signs of inflammation in my blood tests but I’m wondering is this much inflammation and constant pain normal? Should I push to change biologic?

My disease has been stable on Cimzia for 6+ years. My symptoms started as episodes of left-side numbness or what a neurologist referred to as Jacksonian March seizures. They first suspected TIAs, then epilepsy.

For cimzia to be at its most effective, do I agree to continue on or do I push for another drug to be added? If there is anything. I don't want to switch from Cimzia if I can help it as want to TTC end of the year.

Hi, wondering if anyone else has experience anxiety as a result of stopping cimzia or other biologics? Or if anyone has experienced anxiety like symptoms- increased heart rate, spacey/dizzy feeling, restless sleep?

Thinking about switching from methotrexate and prednisone to cimzia. I would love to hear from anyone who has been taking it and what their experience has been, any side affects and how it is working for them. Have been on the two above medications for about 10 years.
