Hi Everyone, Thank you all so much for the messages you sent, Well it went really way and i enjoyed being back in the work place, I only done a couple of hours but to be honest i think that is going to be enough for me at the moment until my meds are sorted out, when i got home my joints really did let me know that i had been working them today, So i took some more painkiller and rested... but then i fill a sleep lol,.... That is why i am still awake now, we just can't win, never mind...... My boss made it quite clear that i'm not to do any lifting and it take it easy bless him, He also ask me if i wanted to come in on Friday, So i am going to see how i am over the next couple of days, time will tell, the staff were great and understanding so that really helped,Thanks again XXX

Glad it went well. Your boss sounds great. Sometimes I find I have a better day at work because it takes your mind off it all. Make sure you rest and don't overdo things.

How lovely does your boss sound! The lift you'll get from working will aid your mental health no end, I'm sure :o) The only work I could do is voluntary as finding a job is so hard in the first place and then finding an understanding boss is even harder, well done you for finding one and having the determination and capability to get back out there "Yay :)))))" xx

Hi Really glad your first day back at work went well and really happy you have such an understanding and nice boss All the best and may there be a lot of fun work days, Christine xx
That's great news! It is best to take it slowly at first - small steps! What a great boss you have and so good to hear your colleagues are understanding and supportive. I was also very lucky in that regard at my job - everyone was so great about it. Many are not as lucky, so good for you!
Just don't get over-confident and do too much will you - rest when you can.

Thank you all so much, I'm so lucky to have a boss like him, i think it has help as he has a form of arthritis in his hands himself, So he suffers with some of the affects of over doing it, i also ask him to look up Ra so that he can understand what affects it is going to have on me returning back to work, i have woke up this morning really stiff and a lot of pain in my shoulders which i am not surprised, It has taken me a long time to get ready to go out, but i have to go as i have a GP appointment, will let you know how i get on XXX
Well done Shirl I have been off work since October during which time my employers have moved to a different building where I have never worked so completely understand your anxiety at returning. How lovely to have such an understanding boss, it goes a l-o-n-g, long way to helping your state of mind if you know your boss and colleagues understand.
Take care and don't overdo it though! So pleased for you
