Bye bye nicotine free vape

When I first quit 10 months ago ,I started using nicotine free vape and now I’m glad I did .

I wasnt using it all the time but it did certainly helped me on those first couple of months very much . I also carried it in my purse everyday charged in case I had a terrible urge to smoke .

To my surprise it’s been already a couple of weeks that I don’t even remember I have it with me .

This proves how this journey always get much better as long as we don’t smoke not even one puff ever again 🚭

Karina...Very well done...The "easier" part to get rid of is the nicotine crave but the habit is so engraved in our minds and that is the difficult part...but as you said it just get better and better...!

Hidden

10 months Hidden - congratulations!! Not long before you are with us in the Penthouse enjoying the lovely summer weather in the outdoor pool drinking some chilled prosecco :P 8-)

Good that you are weaning off the vaping - a target for the 1 year to be rid of it perhaps?

Thank you my dear Roisin ..yes summer is almost here in South USA .and can’t wait for my 1 year celebration on June 28 .

The vaping helped me but now I don’t need it so better for me more freedom and money saving ..

Welcome to our community tanyatlc1945 and congratulations on over 5 weeks smoke free (can you confirm you stop date for your milestone badges).

I too stopped cold turkey almost 3 years ago and here to tell the tale :) Yeah, the first month was the worst alright but does get better and better. I just took it day by day for the first 3 months - this community was/is the secret to my success as can be lonely especially when people don't know what you are going through and how hard and such an achievement stopping. Perhaps create a new introductory post just to get the recognition and support from our other members here....

I am across the pond from you here in Ireland, glorious weather for our May bank holiday weekend 8-)

Congratulations! I am using a vape to help me kick cigs and have every intention of giving it up too. It’s awesome to see that you were able to do it. They are very helpful, but a pain in the butt to maintain with constant charging batteries and spilling juice. I want to be completely free like you someday.

in reply to bjay22

Yes you will be totally free one day ! For now keep it if is making you feel more secured and just in case .

Eventually you will feel not dependence because there is not nicotine in it and is just helping you in the behavior part of this quitting journey ..

And like you say it’s still a pain having to refill it and and spilling the juice !

Keep it up 👍
