Success - partly!

On 2nd February it was a year since I smoked my last cigarette. (After fifty years of being a smoker.) I don’t even like the smell of them now. I did it with the help of vaping, but now need to try to give that up. So, still addicted to nicotine but feel healthier and definitely better off financially.

Congrats Lizzie. I used the ecig and eventually my cravings for that went away. Keep on it, if you can switch to a no nicotine version, I think that helps.

Well doneLizzie - hope I make it to 12 months (am up to 8 on 28th Feb) I too smoked for 50 years. Did it with aid of Champix but who cares how, as long as you do it. Congratulations

Very well done, like you after 50 yrs I gave up but am only 13 weeks in but Have never felt so well !!. Like you I have done it with the gum . Why not try swapping your vape for gum It’s just a case of breaking the habit . Am trying to replace the gum with chewing gum, so it might be worth giving it a try.
