Today marks the last day of my 8th month quit. Still can't believe I don't smoke anymore. Still waiting for all the new health benefits to kick but they can't be too far off.

Are you off the patches now?

I've been off the patches since the end of month 3 but am still taking the 2mg nicorette lozenge. I'm in the midst of cutting down on them as well. It's taking much longer than I thought but I haven't smoked and that was the goal

That's great Fenrir5 , the reason I asked about the patches is that you mentioned you haven't seen any health benefits yet. This may be due to still getting nicotine into your system currently from the lozenges. Hopefully when off them you should see the health benefits.

Hopefully. I'm taking such a small amount of the lozenges but that could be the holdup. I'm giving myself a couple more months or maybe not?
