Hi everyone. I've been smoking since I was 14 years old, now 25. I've tried to quit multiple, multiple times in the past but can't seem to stick it out. If I could smoke 3/day I think it wouldn't bother me as much, but it seems like I am an all-or-nothing type of girl when it comes to substances. My throat always hurts, every morning I cough and feel disappointed in myself. I smoked the last cigarette in my pack last night thinking this morning I would pick some more up, but instead I woke up and forced myself to not leave the house and get more. It's almost 730pm and I'm very surprised I've made it this late despite it being torturous and the market is only minutes away... I almost got in my car many times. I didn't have to work today nor do I tomorrow, hard to say what will happen. Not sure why I even put myself through today cause I'm going to a outdoor concert next week and I know I'll smoke then... I guess I'm hoping to not be chained to tobacco. I hate that it control my life. I guess after the shows I would love to be able to live a smoke free lifestyle. Any advice?

Good evening tobefree ..

Quitting smoking is going to change your life amazingly πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

You are very young ,this is your opportunity !get yourself out of Tobbaco addiction and feel free .πŸ¦‹

this is your time to quit πŸ‘Œ

Smoking causes infinite problems to your health as you must know and the addiction increases as we age .

1 cigarret initiates you for the next one and the next one and on and on it’s a chain .😩

We are all different but here are a few tips πŸ‘Œ

Stay involved in this great community and ask anything you want we love to help each other .😊

Read the pinned posts on each page .. .you will find great advises there

Read our stories .irs anazing how we learn from others experiences .

Remove anything in your daily routine that triggers you to smoke such as coffee alcohol smoking places etc

For the first 2 months plan to distract your mind whenever you are tense .

so make a list of 5 or more things to trick your thoughts .such as chewing gum ,iced juice ,deep breathing exercises , or anything you like .its just temporary while your body detox and your mind resets from old behavior herbal relaxing tea helps a lot .drink it all day if you need it

Keep always in mind the reasons you quit .also give yourself lots of credit and thank yourself for saving your life πŸ†

There is something we all agree here ..Staying quit gets much easier as days goes by .😌

Never give up a few challenging months .

are totally worth it

Keep it up πŸ€—
