Well I've made it to day 21, 3 weeks of no smoking and still doing great. Loving the Champix and the weird dreams, no cravings, no cough, a little less energy than last week but so far so good. Hubby still smoking but I don't notice it. He's definitely cut down. Bit concerned I won't want to come off the champix, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it

Day 21 of no smoking.......

Good for you Skyelady and well done!
See below pinned post worth a read if not already done so and something to be aware of in case it creeps up on you!

I did the whole 12 weeks. Trust me, you’ll be ready to come off it by then... lol Anyway, well done. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I finished champix last week and I am getting cravings. did this happen to you?
Hey Mummymonster - as you have stopped champix which took the edge of cravings, yes, it is perfectly normal for the cravings to be more intense for a while. But as each day passes, the less severe and frequent they will occur, I promise!
Drink plenty of water and use your insight timer. And off course, come on here especially if struggling or having a bad day, here for you

A little. I was always swallowing strange for some reason & I felt an emptiness inside but as Roisin suggested, drink plenty of water & the cravings pass quickly. I’m convinced mine weren’t so severe because I did 3 full months of Champix....the nausea outweighed the cravings to be honest. In July I’ll be 2 years smoke free & I was on a pack a day. Stay strong .... the cravings will definitely pass & you won’t even think about smoking anymore. I also started training more at the gym & of course Prosecco 🥂🥂😉 Good luck 👍🏼👍🏼

How is things now Skyelady , nearly at your first big milestone of 1 month?

I'm doing good thanks. Really busy at the moment which is handy. Still no cravings or side effects, I've now forgotten that I smoked....lol

I am going on month 3, I too am worried about dropping the Chantex. My energy has gone, tired all the time, depressed, moody, bitchy, (maybe the weather) but still fighting. I tried dropping down to 1 chantex a day..nope not ready for that yet. GOOD luck, you got this.
