Just keep going and don't give in to it. You are having a battle between yourself and nicotine and they can only be one winner, who? You decide.

Welcome Freedomisgreat - congratulations on 5 days smoke free, well done!

The sweating, sleep disruption and cold like symptoms are all perfectly normal withdrawals from nicotine - see below pinned post worth a read if not already done so:

healthunlocked.com/nosmokin.....

To help with these withdrawals, drink loads and loads of water, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Raw honey (or jar honey will be fine too) every morning and evening to help with the clearing out the lungs. Herbal supplements can assist with any anxiety issues. A bit of a walk every day to clear the head!

Congratulations on day 5, the trick is to realise its as hard or easy as you let it be, understanding your connection with smoking is an emotional one and to keep your mind distracted. I found I started having all sorts of ailments that I wanted to associate with having stopped smoking when really it was my mind trying to trick me into thinking stopping was a bad idea. Stay strong, positive mindset.. nothing bad is happening, quite the opposite.. it is greener on the other side... just takes a while for it all to come into focus.
