Hi, i'm new here and today is my first day of taking Chantix. I've tried using Nicotine Gum and Nicotine patches several times and it did not work. I'm actually looking forward to this journey and i'm so glad that I found this group.
I smoke about 10-12 cigarettes a day.
It's 3:52pm central time and I only had 3 Cigarettes so far.

Welcome iquit19 and congratulations ! Great desition ! Make sure to always read the pinned post on top or bottom of each page , you will find lots of advise on many topics about quitting smoking . I quit with Chantix for 18 months already .Best desition ever .Once you past the stage where your body is clean of nicotine things change incredible .so stay strong please !
Chantix will make it much easier .I tried to quit many times before .My life has changed positively in all the areas . I will never smoke again !

Hi, I too started Champix on Sunday, today is day 4 for me and my first day of morning and evening tablet, I have no idea what to expect. So far I've had no side effects and I'm still smoking, although the taste is changing and I'm leaving half roll ups when I am smoking. I'm in the UK
I am across the water Skyelady here in Ireland. We have members from all over the world from Australia, South Africa, New York, Canada, Germany, Italy and off course the UK so we have all time zones covered!!
I'm a day behind you day 3 and I noticed a difference on my second day. Like you i'm still smoking but not as much and i'm not getting that strong urge feeling. The taste of a menthol cig has not changed for me yet.
