Hello everyone just an update. I am still smoke free. Had my first dream about smoking a cigarette last night and I did not enjoy it. Ha. I am just now starting to have some sleep issues but I know this too will pass. Still having some anxiety issues and I am still on step 1 of the patch. I am going to use it as directed to help avoid any setbacks. Thank you for support and I help everyone is doing good in their quit

Congrats Vicky, almost a month! All the problems pass, some not that quickly, but long term it gets better.

Ah Vicky68 - the dreaded smoking dreams, I still have them now and again at almost 3 years smoke free, they say it is your brain craving a smoke in your sleep, not sure if it is true.... :O

Do whatever it takes not to light up that cigarette. You are doing great!

Hi Vicky, I’m starting the patch today is great to see you’ve done so well with it. I have tried before but always caved in. Am motivated though to stick with it. Well gone on your month smoke free.

The patch is still working well for me. My doctor has told me though to make sure I use each step for 6 weeks in order to prevent any chance of slipping. I really want to come off of them but I don’t want to jeopardize myself so I am going to follow his advice. Can not wait to get down to 14 mg or step 2.

That’s great well done! I’m starting on step 2 as smoke 10 a day, am feeling ok at the moment. Is good to talk to someone who has quit with the patch, thanks for your reply 😁
