3 Months And Here I Am 🚬 Free

Wowwwwww I know I said I would be back at my 3-month mark and here I am smoke-free it feels freaking amazing I had a really hard week last week had to call the smokers helpline was crying upset thought I was going to go right out and buy a pack of smokes I was having a really crappy day from beginning to end I meant she got through with not smoking. This journey has been a lot harder than I thought it was going to be I knew it was going to be hard but not this hard some days are such a fight and others are not so much. I feel great I love great but I do feel like I am on an emotional rollercoaster at times not knowing how to cope with life and triggers at certain times whether they're happy mad or sad. But I do have great news my husband has decided to take our family to Aruba somewhere where I wanted to go for many years he said I deserve this I have worked so hard and he is so proud of me and I can't tell you how happy I am to go here to make memories with my family. I am also pre thinking how I am going to go on vacation and this will be my first one with not smoking I always put away money to buy my cartons before I leave this time I won't be I start thinking will I be able to do this go away and not be able to smoke in the sunshine??? This summer will definitely be a true test for me I'm hoping that I can keep this promise to myself into you all that when I do come back from my trip I will still be Smoke-Free🌴🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🌕🎉🎉🎉🎉🌴+ I will speak about my vapor situation another time but yes I am still using 0 nicotine

Congrats on 3 months, Lexree. Enjoy your well deserved vacation. Aruba is one of my favorite places; storm free, always high 70s with a slight breeze. A decent casinos and some nice beachfront restaurants where you don't wear shoes because the water is up to your ankles by dessert time.

I was still smoking the last time I went. My girlfriend and I went out for a smoke after dinner, an Aruban policeman comes quickly towards us, and I'm thinking we are going to get a ticket. But instead he lit our cigarettes and wished us a good evening.

Lexree..from what I read between the lines you have nailed it....Congrats on three months....You sound very positive but also very worried...Please don't be, you are going to enjoy this first smoke free holiday more than you can imagine...You will walk pas a smoker and thought : "how could I have smelled like that..."

Take that carton money and buy yourself something nice for the holiday...You will rediscover what a holiday should be like..you will explore nice things and not be looking for a smoking corner or sit in the smokers part of the restaurant...!!

Enjoy Summer...Winter is creeping closer on our side of the world ...

Hey April, good to hear from you and on your 3 month milestone, congratulations and well done! You remind me so much of myself in your journey and look at me now, over 2 and a half years smoke free!!

I was VERY anxious about my first holiday, but because I was mentally prepared, it went well, if anything surrounding smokers and the smell of smoking was enough to keep the cravings at bay. Enjoy the holiday and make those great memories with your family and the memory of an amazing first time holiday smoke free!

You will be able to buy some expensive perfume in the duty free with the money you have, I done it when away there last month and bought a bottle that cost €120, shhhesh, don't tell hubby!!
