with today being the first day of Spring (well in Ireland 8-) ) - we got through the desperate long month of January at long last!

So, if you are on the Steam train early stage of your journey, I promise you will be on the Orient Express in no time especially when the long, bright evenings come along. Hang in there and give it all you have, it will be so worth it and to experience your first smoke free Summer... 8-)

I have attached another page from my diary I got for the month of February to share with ye all......

I think January should be shortened as it goes on for far too long. I reckon about 20 days; that would be enough. Shall we start a petition? "We, the undersigned, express our wish for the UK and Irish governments to shorten the month of January by eleven days because it's a pain in the arse" That should do it.

Prefect Nozmo , just shortened enough to include my birthday on the 20th :D :D

Actually, better extend it a little as my daughter’s birthday is the 22nd. She wouldn’t be very happy about that.

Maybe we can switch to the "real" zodiac sign, based on the sun's current path. Apparently the earth "wobbles" on it's axis on a 25,800 year cycle. So the constellations that the Babylonians & Greeks used are off. The time period was made equal (Scorpio is only 6 days) and a 13th (Ophiuchus) was dropped.

Capricorn — Jan. 20 to Feb. 16 (Dec. 23 to Jan. 21) Aquarius — Feb. 16 to March 11 (Jan. 22 to Feb. 20) Pisces — March 11 to April 18 (Feb. 21 to March 19) Aries — April 18 to May 13 (March 20 to April 20) Taurus — May 13 to June 21 (April 21 to May 21) Gemini — June 21 to July 20 (May 22 to June 22) Cancer — July 20 to Aug. 10 (June 23 to July 22) Leo — August 10 to Sept. 16 (July 23 to Aug. 22) Virgo — Sept. 16 to Oct. 30 (Aug. 23 to Sept. 22) Libra — Oct. 30 to Nov. 23 (Sept. 23 to Oct. 22) Scorpio — Nov. 23 to Nov. 29 (Oct. 23 to Nov. 22) Ophiuchus — Nov. 29 to Dec. 17 (not included in the Zodiac) Sagittarius — Dec. 17 to Jan. 20 (Nov. 23 to Dec. 22)

Oops....... now I am not included in the Zodiac..All on my own....!

The Serpant holder..!!

"What else do we know about Ophiuchus? Well, apparently you Ophiuchans progress well through your life, and authority looks upon you positively (even though you refuse to blindly follow it and always seek the truth). You have a thirst for wisdom and knowledge, and would apparently make a great architect. You're known for your flamboyant sense of style and you love to dress in bright colors. Also, fun fact: Your lucky number is 12. Not 13. That would make too much sense. Ophiuchus is curious, open to change, a true visionary, and has a great sense of humor. Not too shabby, right?"

Thats is My kind'a Guy...!!

Hi Roisin

I've stopped counting the days without ciggs must be many days. I am proud of myself actually!

Just out of curiosity how much is one bedroom flat for rent in Ireland?

Will Ireland remains as part of EU?

I know that Ireland is awesome and beautiful enchanting!

Hey Mirosa - you are 56 days smoke free, well done and so you should be proud of yourself!

In the cities in Ireland, rent in a flat for a bedroom would average at €400 per month, in smaller towns average at €300 per month....Oh most definitely Ireland is staying in EU, its the UK that is exiting the EU....
