we'll as u know came back from holidays, smoked and stopped again. Then started again. But now I got to the stage where I'm so so fed up smoking! Like literally couldn't wait to stop. This is day 1 AGAIN.
My throat is scratchy and feel like I've caught my toddlers cold so this can also benefit me I think. Anyways, without dragging on....
I'm back in the club folks. And I intend to stay this time with no more excuses.
have a good day 😊

Great to hear from you LeesaD and well done for getting back on the horse, it is clear you desperately want to be quit but its making it stick - you must learn from previous attempts and what made you relapse, have the mantra that smoking is under NO circumstances an option, you can and will do it.

Hi Roisin, going good. I've thought about the shop, but then thought, do I really want to be sittin outside smoking 🚬 and the urge for the shop wasn't that strong. I just have a real heavy Cold at the moment too, can't taste and smell, and my chest and throat are on fire. So I love the cold this time around!! It's helping me not want one even more. Puffing on my ecig tho.
Never ever give up trying to quit LeesaD . It took me a few attempts as well. I kept stopping and starting again. It's not uncommon. Eventually I did it because I couldn't face the thought of having to quit again, it was all a monumental effort.
Keep plugging away. Don't loose hope or heart because you can do this.
Hi Leesa...Are you in competition with Mark Twain ??...He said: Quitting is easy I have done it hundreds of times'' seem to me you want to make it thousands of times...Really only joking with you Leesa..Don't be mad at me....You must want it so much otherwise you wouldn't have done it over and over...!
Soon you will feel the difference and then you will never want to go back...Strongs !!
Having been a serial quitter / starter, I can totally empathise with where you're at. Have you had a look at champix? It may not be right for everyone (and those hardcore-cold-turkey quitters demonstrate it's not 'needed') but it seems to have worked for a number of people and may be worth considering(?). I'm at the stage of my life that I'll try anything to be rid of the demon nicotine and it seems to be working so far.
