Doing really well since the angry Monday haha I'm not missing my cigarettes (or standing outside!) I have more money in my pocket and while I have piled on the weight.. I can lose that ππ» How is everyone else doing?
Day 25: Doing really well since the angry... - No Smoking Day
Day 25
Hi Louiseb17 - good to know you are feeling better - one of my biggest reasons for stopping was the money (I really am not a miser honest, lol).
Good thanks - I think I have gained a few pounds but I'll worry about that when I'm in a more 'settled' place I think - if I take on too much I worry that it will all become too much and I don't want to fail.
In 3 days I will have quit for two weeks so I'm thinking what I can treat myself to this week!!
Keep strong - we can all do it together...
Mel
Hello, well done on your quit!I'm on day 54 I think now, I don't know if it helps but I put on a few pounds in the first couple of weeks but it has come off now, I haven't tried to lose it so maybe it will be temporary for you too. Metabolism adjusting perhaps. Keep going!!
hi louiseb 17 thats great to hear! im on day 37 cold turkey, and am feeling pretty good today as i type this i think we can all agree that we are going to be finacially better of for not smoking, although i think ive spent what i would of on cigarettes on food now and more haha but i enjoy my food much more now already and look forward to my meals wheres i wasnt as bothered before, keep up the good work!
Good to hear from you Nohassel - see you got the 'how amazing foods tastes now' bug too, it is unreal how much everything tastes and smells since we quit! Glad things are going well for you
absolutely roisin people allways say your sense of smell/ taste buds improve after you quit but you cant actually appreciate it properly untill you take the plunge urself got my teeth cleaned yesterday aswell so mouth is feeling super clean and fresh hehe, and the fatigue i was feeling last week has also improved a wee bit now so feeling a bit happier in general
Well done your doing great
hi Louise well done on your first week!!!πππ its a major achievement! I can remember how proud I felt after my first week, and I don't think non smokers will ever realise just how bloody hard it is to quit, so well done again and stay strong in your quit!πππ
