Hi Louiseb17 - good to know you are feeling better - one of my biggest reasons for stopping was the money (I really am not a miser honest, lol).

Good thanks - I think I have gained a few pounds but I'll worry about that when I'm in a more 'settled' place I think - if I take on too much I worry that it will all become too much and I don't want to fail.

In 3 days I will have quit for two weeks so I'm thinking what I can treat myself to this week!!

Keep strong - we can all do it together...

Mel :)

Hello, well done on your quit!I'm on day 54 I think now, I don't know if it helps but I put on a few pounds in the first couple of weeks but it has come off now, I haven't tried to lose it so maybe it will be temporary for you too. Metabolism adjusting perhaps. Keep going!! :)

Good to hear from you Nohassel - see you got the 'how amazing foods tastes now' bug too, it is unreal how much everything tastes and smells since we quit! Glad things are going well for you :)

absolutely roisin people allways say your sense of smell/ taste buds improve after you quit but you cant actually appreciate it properly untill you take the plunge urself :) got my teeth cleaned yesterday aswell so mouth is feeling super clean and fresh hehe, and the fatigue i was feeling last week has also improved a wee bit now so feeling a bit happier in general :)

hi Louise well done on your first week!!!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ its a major achievement! I can remember how proud I felt after my first week, and I don't think non smokers will ever realise just how bloody hard it is to quit, so well done again and stay strong in your quit!😊😊😊
