Hello Sheknows1 and congratulations on your milestone!

I didn't have any problems with mouth infections myself but I have seen quite a few posts from people who did in the time that I've been here. I think it's fairly common, and your dentist doesn't seem to think there's much to be worried about. Hope it clears up soon.

Anyway, just saying hello...Keep it up!

Wow hun congrates to u too. and thxs will keep going.... Lol i find loads of persons i know still offer cigs to me though and say one wont hurt.... Really! but i think NO! It will .... Also in 6 months my denist said as smoking has loosened a lot of teeth. He is willing to give me permenate ones for free....as a reward as he knows it does bother me and says he can afford it....been with him for 40yrs now....anyway gl to u hun. Xxxx

I wish my dentist was that generous...just paid £53 to have a filling replaced!

Good for you for refusing the cigs offered to you. It's very tempting I know, been there myself. People don't bother offering me one now, which is a relief. 😀

Shecknows...Yes, I have read about few people suffering the mouth thing. I was one of the lucky ones although after my quit lost a couple of Moulers.... I was also certified to have COPD but it is livable....Yes, I am still excruting some grid and grime with hard practice but in general it is way better than in the beginning of my quit....Stay strong and be assured you are on a amazing journey of recovering.....!!!!

(Agreed with Nozmo..wish my dentist was that generous.. Removing that 2 teeth was the equivalent of € 250-00)

hi Sheknows1

you have done well 😁

I had mouth ulcers, loads of the little buggers 😁

I've had a throat infection for a while now and I thing gargling salt water has helped me.its a bit grose but may work 😒

my infection was not with stopping.just a bug I picked up 😒

I had "boarder line COPD which now all this time is a 100% better.the constant coughing had disappeared I can run around with grandchildren 😁

its a hard battle to stop smoking, but its a battle we must win 😒

you keep at it,it's well worth it 😁

take care 😊

keep kicking 😎
