Interesting. I realise we do not know the effects of long term vaping but in the short term, I think e-cigs are a good thing. The only slightly concerning thing is that the studies carried out were done so by scientists who were linked to big tobacco (in various ways). They concluded they were safe of course as big tobacco is moving into the market.

I think anything that helps people to quit is good.

E-sig was my only reason I stoped.

id tried patches.gums.tablets etc nothing worked.

it may not be great to some but I think 4000 less chemicals must be

.

take care 😊

keep kicking 😎

See, they're great! Couldn't have done it without my ecig in the first few months. Once I got down to 0% nicotine I just didn't get anything from it anymore so I drifted away.

I agree. I never tried the patch, gum, lozenges, or anything else because they did not seem like smoking. The e-cig was an almost seamless switch. It was a useful crutch early on and it was relatively easy to lower the nicotine content.

But any way the works, is a good way to quit. An ex-gf successfully used Reiki & crystals to quit. I guess they didn't help me, because I could not stop laughing. And I guess that is why she's an ex. :)

off topic.got messages but cant pm.

thanks.
