Heya , I have been taking champix for three weeks now I'm into my fourth week but I have been feeling very up and down lately , I'm usually quite a bubbly person but I have no intrest when my friends talk to me and I'm being very quiet , some days I just don't want to talk to anyone and cry . Not quite sure what to do :(

Hiya Poppywhite,

I know what you're saying; it really knocks you for six and you don't feel anything like your normal self. The only advice I can give is to keep going. It takes a while but the longer you go the more like your old self you become. I can't give a timeline unfortunately as it's pretty erratic and you have your good days and bad days. For me however, after about six weeks I started to have more good days than bad days and now, although I still fancy a cigarette occasionally, I'm pretty much back to "normal".

I hope this helps. It's worth persevering for lots of reasons so I hope you keep going.

Thank you very much for your reply ! I will carry on taking them as I did give up on day five and feels good not smoking just the down side of it. Very true it knocks you for six though .
