Nah it ain't the same! Well done austinlegro, 4 years ago I quit too and still going strong. It was thanks to old timers like you that I got through my quit. Stay strong my old buddy - well it ain't even a thought in the head now is it? Love Lisa x

Congratulations austinlegro, it must feel fantastic to have 8 years under your belt. Congratulations to you too incey42 on your 4 years.

The forum does seem to have lost some of its bounce but I suppose everything has to change. Everything that is apart from those of us who are still on this quit mission - it can be a bumpy ride at times but you've shown that it is achievable.

Where are all the cat pictures and lush pictures of Johnny Depp gone? LOL. Thanks Linda54!! It really does get easier with time, if you can just get past that initial bit (easier said than done as I quit repeatedly off and on for ages) then the longer you go the easier it gets. i honesty don't think about it at all now and feel much better for it. Stay strong. xxxx

Firstly congratulations on 8 years. It must feel great to say you haven't smoked for nearly a decade 😀

Secondly you had to google the site so shows you haven't been here for ages. You can't just turn up and say the forum isn't the same. Of course it isn't the same to you but it's still an important lifeline for those of us quitting right now.
