Wow, made it to a new room - I love doing that, congrats
The sleep will settle I'm sure, I had a few weeks of it. I still wake up slightly more than before but I can get 5-6 hours solid which is great, you will soon too. If beer works for now then don't worry (I tried vodka & coke but it didn't work as I then needed the loo during the night!)
You really are doing fantastically well you know, and if you have to sink a few beers to get some shut-eye, so be it (within reason at least). It is the weekend after all....
