Moving house this weekend, had several job interviews this week, results day is a week today, my 10k is two weeks away and now my car has decided to make some very strange noises. Needless to say I'm really stressed. When I feel stressed I think of cigarettes but I don't want to smoke so it's not really a crave, just a passing fancy. Progress?
I hope everyone has had a good week, sorry I haven't been on much. x

Gosh, you are a busy lady. Results day, are you studying for something? Forgive me if you already mentioned this and I missed it. 10k..... Wow!
Helene is dead right there Kirstie- having sat on an interview panel myself quite a few times I think the interviewers are sometimes more nervous than the candidate (and certainly less well-prepared!)
I shall keep my fingers crossed that you find your current ideal job very soon and that whatever strange noises the car is making prove to be something easily (and cheaply) fixed (or the noises stop).
Well done Kirstie- you're holding on in there despite all the external stresses and that's mighty!
@Camellia: I have just finished my degree, finally!
@Helene: A 10k is a race, short for 10,000m or 10 kilometres, otherwise known as 6.2 miles. And thank you for your interview advice, I have taken it on board (and you too @Skiddaw).
@TG Well it's not working because it's hammering it down here! If it is not sunny on Sunday and all my stuff gets what I will definitely be blaming you
Hope you are still on your quit kirstie, you've had one or two little wobbles recently, enough to make me a bit anxious in wondering whether you might have succumbed.
After so long, would hate to find out you'd gone back to day 1.
After all, my being this far down the track is at least in a way thanks to you and other no smoking day quitters.

I'm all good Carl. I've wobbled but not fallen as of yet! I know what you mean, having other people that same length in to their quit as you are is definitely motivating.
